Our Eco Pod is nestled in a secluded area within the estate, providing a unique and eco-friendly holiday experience.
This sustainable accommodation is powered primarily by solar and wind energy, offering both comfort and breathtaking views.
Inside the Pod you'll find a cozy full-size bed where you can wake up to the beauty of the surroundings - Stay warm with the wood burner in the corner (ample logs are supplied) - and enjoy the convenience of a full-size shower, basin, and w/c.
The kitchenette area is equipped with a fridge, sink, hob, and microwave, providing everything you need for your stay and you can stay connected with full Wi-Fi and a Freesat TV.
Step outside onto the large decking area, where you'll find an outdoor covered kitchen zone and a wood burning fire pit for a barbecue meal - For a true off-grid experience, take advantage of the warm water outdoor shower, which is powered by solar energy from our mountain springs.
Discreet lighting outside allows you to enjoy the outdoor space in any weather and, in case you need extra hot water or heating, there is an automatic backup generator to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply.
Please note that the Pod is located 2 miles inside the estate, accessible via forest tracks. While all vehicles can access these tracks, they can be bumpy and muddy depending on the time of year. During the coldest winter months, we recommend an SUV or 4-wheel drive vehicle, but we can arrange transportation in an estate vehicle if needed.
We do accept dogs at the Eco Pod, but please keep in mind that the woodland location is not securely fenced. Additionally, the compact interior of the Pod is not suitable for multiple dogs or larger breeds.
