Romance
Built in the Scottish baronial style in 1870, Ardverikie
is one of the finest private houses in the Scottish highlands.
Sitting on a promontory overlooking King Fergus's Island with its
ancient ruins, a three mile private drive winds past Laggan Sands,
the largest inland beach in the country and round the loch. The
house played host to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert for a whole
month in 1847 before she bought Balmoral.
Weddings

Starring film roles, include "Glenbogle" in
the BBC's long running drama, "Monarch of the Glen". Enraptured
by the local scenery, it has been essential Sunday night viewing
for millions for the last seven years. The series has been shown
the world over, making it one of the most successful of its kind
ever.

Prior to that, Ardverikie formed the stunning backdrop to "Mrs.
Brown", the feature film about Queen Victoria's relationship
with her Scottish ghillie, Billy Connolly and Judy Dench. It also
featured heavily in "The Missionary" with Michael Palin
