Offering something for everyone from wild mountains and adventure activities to tranquil forest walks and romantic strolls along the stunning sandy beach at Loch Laggan we hope you will return to Ardverikie year after year. Guests can make full use of the whole of the Estate with the opportunity to participate in two activities which are only available to our holiday house guests: feeding the deer with one of our stalkers during the winter months and a tour of the fairy tale Ardverikie Castle which will be familiar to many as Glenbogle from the BBC series “Monarch of the Glen”.
With a range of accommodation to suit all, our holiday houses sleep from 3 to 13 people:
For full details, prices and availability for each house click on the photo or the link above.
Ardverikie Castle Tours – we are now able to offer guests staying in our holiday cottages an exclusive tour of the main reception rooms and gardens at the spectacular Ardverikie Castle (at extra cost). Castle tours are not available to the general public. Ardverikie is still a private family home – so there are times during the year when house tours are will NOT be available. Please check with the Estate Office before booking your holiday if a tour of the Castle is an important part of your booking.
Deer Feeding – we ensure the ongoing health and welfare of our wild red deer herd by supplementary feeding in winter – usually between late November and late March. Depending on work schedule guests can join one of our stalkers for an early morning Land Rover trip to feed the deer and enjoy the experience of seeing these magnificent beasts in their natural surroundings. A must for all keen photographers. Again, please check with the Estate Office before booking if this will be an important component of your holiday.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at £20 per dog but must be house-trained and kept under control at all times.
Short breaks are available between September and May (excluding Christmas and New Year) and are calculated as a percentage of the weekly cost:
