Picturesque, turreted Victorian self catering holiday cottage, the Gate Lodge, set at the main entrance to the estate, beside a bridge over the River Pattack. With attractive views up and down the river, the property has an unusual layout with accommodation on three floors with a spiral staircase running the height of the turret. Gatelodge is a popular honeymoon cottage.
The property is within walking distance of the sandy beach at Loch Laggan and other estate facilities and is within easy driving distance of the Cairngorm mountains, Ben Nevis Ski range and Creag Meagaidh Nature Reserve.
Gate Lodge was used in the first series of Monarch of the Glen.
This property is not suitable for small children or disabled as it has a steep staircase.
Lower Ground Floor: Kitchen/diningroom, cloakroom with wc.
Ground Floor: Sittingroom with open fire, bathroom with wc, whb, bath with shower over.
First Floor: Double bedroom, single bedroom
- Rates quoted are for the house per week. Lets run from Friday to Friday. Check-in is at 4pm and check out at 10am.
- Short breaks are available during Off, Low and Mid seasons.
- Linen and towels are provided.
