Ardverikie's beautiful surroundings make it an obvious choice as a filming location in Scotland. Guests staying on the estate will be able to visit the areas used in the filming of Monarch of the Glen and other movies.
The BBC Television Sunday evening series 'Monarch of the Glen', produced by Ecosse Films, was filmed mostly in the Badenoch area, including locations in Laggan, Newtonmore, Kingussie and Kincraig.

The movie, Mrs. Brown (1997) starring Dame Judy Dench as Queen Victoria and the Scottish comedian Billy Connelly as John Brown were also filmed on the estate. Mrs Brown was produced by Ecossefilms.
In The Missionary the Reverend Charles Fortescue (Michael Palin) travels 500 miles from London to Carnoustie House in the Highlands of Scotland. Filmed at Ardverikie House in Badenoch. There is a audio/visual reference to Chariots of Fire (made the previous year) when a group of people are seen running along the lochside with a short burst of Van Gelis's theme from the movie.
